Number 2 on the 100 greatest music videos is Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel made in 1986. This music video like A'ha Take me on, is iconic because of the well used technology. In Sledgehammer stop motion is used all the way through the video. This is a pretty basic method of animation however it is very hard to get it to a standard as good as this one as the main issues with this animation is continuity. If there is a problem with continuity the whole of the video may be ruined.
